Known for his energy, humour, and commitment to collaboration, Stuart plays a pivotal role in shaping conversations with school leaders and ensuring that MyNewTerm continues to support school recruitment in the most effective, forward-thinking way.
What does a typical day in your role look like?
Thankfully, a typical day is exactly the sort of day I look forward to! It will include many interactions with schools and MATs who are seeking to solve problems relating to their recruitment process. I’m regularly presenting our platform to school stakeholders and allowing them to see what can now be achieved with technology, often for the first time, which is very exciting.
How did you get started in this industry?
I began working in the education technology sector back in 2005 when schools first got ring-fenced funding to bring interactive technology into the classroom, to enable teachers to better engage students. I worked for one of the earliest curriculum content providers to schools in the UK and later, worldwide, throughout my 10 years there.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Providing a refreshing solution to age-old issues in education, but also seeing people’s gratitude for the product we offer and the service we deliver with it.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
‘Stuart, stop being like a bull in a china shop!’
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I didn’t actually move to England until I was 5 years old.
